Many local farmers have quit the business of cocoa farming largely due to lack of motivations and supports from their governments or governments representatives, and the relieve fonds provided by international organizations are in most cases not made available for these struggling farmers and their families, thereby turning their back on cocoa farming.
Abigrow is not only reaching out to these numerous farmers, but also building close relationships with them as well as providing them with tools, trainings and supports needed (with proper monitoring programmes) to be successful in the business of cocoa plantations, thereby making lives better for them and their families and more cocoa to sell.
